How it works

One set of bin numbers:
farms plan feeding, feed mills plan supply

From checking stock before a new batch to confirming the delivery, the farm and the feed mill look at the same bin data through one cycle.

Pig farmer using MyFeedVideo interview
“Just as people want freshly cooked rice and fresh food … when pigs eat old leftover feed mixed with newly delivered feed, they eat a lot less. Simply put, it's like serving them cold rice.”

Pig farmer using MyFeedVideo interview
“Emptying the bin and taking in new feed goes much more smoothly, so the pigs keep getting fresh feed. I think their growth rate and feed efficiency will improve too.”

Questions we hear most in consultations

How much does it cost?

Every farm has a different number of bins and network setup, so we quote per farm. Leave your livestock type and number of bins and we will send a quote and explain it by phone. There are several options, such as buying the devices or subscribing.

Can it replace load cells?

There is no need to fit weight sensors (load cells) under the bin legs. The sensor goes on the hatch at the top of the bin. We go through accuracy comparisons in the consultation.

Does it work on large or non-standard bins?

Yes. It is designed for bins that are not a standard size. We check the size and mounting point during the site visit.

Can we use a government subsidy?

Some farms have applied for a subsidy program together with the installation. We explain eligibility and the process in the consultation.

Outsiders can't enter during shipping or biosecurity periods.

We schedule the installation around your shipping and biosecurity calendar.

Can feed companies ask too?

Yes. Devices can be installed at your customer farms, and we explain how ordering connects in the consultation.
